My first book signing at Chapters Brampton, on Saturday, February 24th. I spent the day meeting new people 
who were interested to learn about the book, and how the story was created. Many were open to sharing their own stories and each one was intriguing and in some ways, inspiring.
I was also fortunate to have locals from Brampton who dropped by to say hello and have their books signed. The compliments about the story were appreciated but more so, I was happy they took the time to stop by even if it was just a quick visit. The day was productive and many books were sold, but the best part was meeting new people and seeing familiar faces and knowing that the story of Brown Girl in the Room is appreciated by so many.
