Brown Girl in the Room to be re-released by Baxter House Editions

I’m very pleased to announce that Brown Girl in the Room has found a new home with Baxter House Editions, a division of DarkWinter Press and will be re-released in the summer of 2026.

Brown Girl in the Room was published by Tightrope Books in 2017, but when the press closed two years later, the book was left in limbo. But over the years, the book continued to gain popularity and was purchased by the North Kawartha Public Library for their branches. In February, it was also featured in The Book Wardrobe in Mississauga.
